After moving from densely populated Fort Lauderdale, Florida, we were ecstatic to find the Gruene Onion serves up the kind of advanced cuisine our pallettes have grown accustomed to. They feature an incredible selection of heavenly dishes. We're not talkin' dried out burgers served with under-ripe tomatoes and a sprinking of torn up iceberg lettuce. These folks put together some of the tastiest entrees we have ever had. This is a mandatory stop for anyone loving great food.

Canyon Lake locals, Kathy and Rocky Hill head up this fantastically talented entourage of musicians and vocalists. The name says it all, they play the Blues and Jazz as thought they were sitting on Bourbon Street. When they aren't booked for events, they can frequently be heard at the "Gruene Onion Grill" in New Braunfels. See the link above.
